Lesson Fees
Below are the fees that apply to the different types of lesson we offer. If you have any queries please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.
1st Lesson (Trial)
It is really important you find the right Martial Arts Club and Style for you, for that reason your first lesson with us is a no obligation free trial. Come along, have a go, discuss what you want to achieve and decide if we are right for you.
One hour lesson for an individual student
All our lessons, regardless of class location are £5.
Lesson fees are paid each time you attend.
We do not do monthly contracts, you only pay when you train.
One hour lesson for a parent and child together
We offer a special rate for parents and children who train together. The £5 cost in this instance covers both the parent and the child.
One hour private lesson
Private lessons are available to help you achieve your goals. A private lesson with our Senior Instructor costs £20 an hour for a 1 on 1 lesson and £5 each for any additional people you wish to bring.
Membership Fees
After 3 lessons, all of our students are required to apply for a Martial Arts Licence and Membership of our Governing Body Cobra Martial Arts Association (CMAA). When a student joins the CMAA they are automatically covered by the group insurance for student on student injury and any grade they receive is recognised nationally.
Initial Membership
Initial Membership is payable after 3 lessons and includes:
A Martial Arts Licence Book
An Embroidered Club T-Shirt
Membership of Cobra Martial Arts Association (C.M.A.A)
Insurance cover as part of C.M.A.A. Group Insurance.
Grading sheets and handouts throughout your training.
Parent and Child Membership
We are keen to encourage parents to train with their children. A joint membership of a parent and child (under 16 years old) has the following benefits:
£30 price instead of £25 each.
Both receive a Martial Arts Licence.
Both join the C.M.A.A and the Group Insurance.
The child receives a Club T-shirt.
Parent only pays for the child's lesson theirs is free.
Annual Renewal
Annual renewal covers another years membership to C.M.A.A and coverage by their Group Insurance.
Grading Fees
There are a number of different ways we conduct Gradings. The prices for each are detailed below.
Kyu Grading
£15 is the standard price for all of our Kyu (Coloured Belt) Gradings.
Upon payment of your Grading Fee you will receive:
An A4 Grading Certificate.
A Belt of the relevant colour.
Your Grade will be recognised nationally by Cobra Martial Arts Association.
Junior Black Belt Grading
£20 is the standard price for our Junior Black Belt Gradings.
Upon payment of your Grading Fee you will receive:
An A4 Grading Certificate.
An unembroidered Black Belt.
Your Grade will be recognised nationally by Cobra Martial Arts Association.
Your name will appear on the Cobra Martial Arts Association National Black Belt Register.
Adult 1st Dan Black Belt Grading
£135 is the standard price for our Adult Black Gradings.
Your Grading Fee will cover:
A 5 hour Formal Grading with our Chief Instructor.
An A3 Framed Grading Certificate.
A Black Belt embroidered with your name and the Cobra Martial Arts Association logo.
Your licence book will be upgraded to a Black Belt licence book.
Your Grade will be recognised nationally by Cobra Martial Arts Association.
Your name will appear on the Cobra Martial Arts Association National Black Belt Register.
Adult 2nd Dan Black Belt Grading
£100 is the standard price for Adult Black Gradings of 2nd Dan and above .
Your Grading Fee will cover:
A 2 hour Formal Grading with our Chief Instructor.
An A3 Framed Grading Certificate.
A Black Belt embroidered with your name and the Cobra Martial Arts Association logo.
Your Grade will be recognised nationally by Cobra Martial Arts Association.
